The image is then cut to size and professionally heat pressed onto the sublimation earring blanks. The image is printed on the front and a coordinating solid color on the back! The pinch bails keep the earrings front facing. "The dye-sublimation process transfers the dye into the substrate rather than depositing it on the surface, resulting in a more permanent image. In addition, because the dye-sublimation process uses heat to vaporize the ink, dye-sublimation ink produces higher-resolution prints than any inkjet." Bright vibrant colors & finely sanded edges. These earrings have no plating at all. They are made of wood with stainless steel bails & wires which means - NO tarnishing, discoloring, fading, or ear irritations like you get from plated settings & plated wires.
